Family Faces Fire Again

BILLINGS – For the second time in two years, a local family is scrambling to deal with the aftermath of house fire.

Robert Biggs' home burned to the ground Thursday night. He and his wife moved to Montana, shortly after a kitchen fire at their home in Ohio.

Now, only a couple of years later they're reliving that nightmare. Biggs said he and his wife had finally settled in.

“Last fire I had was just smoke damage and they could clean everything and replace carpeting, this is, there's nothing to clean,” he said, “it's like starting from new.”

The family was not home when the fire started and no one was hurt in the incident. Biggs said the home is insured, but the contents of the home are not covered.

Officials said they believe it was an electrical fire, but have yet to determine an official cause.
