Heart Surgery Fundraiser

BILLINGS - The Montana Brewing Company will host a fundraiser Saturday for a Billings resident in need of open heart surgery.

Last June, Bing Perrine collapsed at his home due to a congenital heart defect. Since then, he has undergone two surgeries, lost his job and is without health insurance. Employees at the Montana Brewing Company say Bing is still in need of open heart surgery and hope that Saturday's fundraiser will help him pay for the operation.

"I'm just very, very thankful for everything that everyone has done for us," said Perrine. "I can't tell you how happy we are to tell people we're from Billings, Montana. It's amazing."

The fundraiser runs from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday at the Montana Brewing Company and will feature food, drinks, music and a silent auction.

How would out-of-state persons contribute to the fund for Bing Perrine ?

Bing is not only a good daddy and husband. He was co-valedictorian of his graduating class and was honored with the Washington Award for Vocational Excellence (WAVE) scholarship. He has volunteered with his church to build houses for the homeless in Mexico and also volunteered many summers at Stanley Stamm Summer Camp near Mt. Rainier where children with serious illnesses get the chance to go fishing, ride horses and take part in other activities.
