BILLINGS - Thousands of people flock to MontanaFair every year in search of the latest in greatest deep fat fried food.

Fair food has been a staple in Billings for decades and that's why you can find a lot of the same classics that vendors sold in the 1960's and 70's. But if you've had your fair share of corn dogs and funnel cakes, a few vendors have taken deep fried food to the extreme.

"You don't come here to diet. We do a deep fried pie. It's a piece of fry bread that's all spread out you put some yummy pie filling on it. We have cherry, apple, chocolate, and s’more," said vendor Amy Escene.

If that's not strange enough the Girl Scouts also have a new deep fried item, macaroni and cheese. "I always go around and try to find something different and when I saw this I though this is it, this is the one that's probably going to be the seller," said Girl Scouts spokesperson Mary Finnicum.
