BILLINGS - Billings Clinic is placing the finishing touches on it's brand new cancer center.

They're touting the center as a way of streamlining outpatient cancer care, but the new facility also has some new technology including a machine called "Trilogy." It's the latest technology for radiation therapy, and allows patients to receive treatments ranging from standard radiation to minimally invasive surgery.

"We're able to bring in a machine that allows us to really deliver a variety of treatments to the greatest number of patients, so they don't have to travel outside the state to get the care we can deliver here," said Dr. John Schallenkamp with Billings Clinic.

Trilogy costs about $7 million dollars. The Billings Clinic Cancer Center will see its first patients on Monday.
