Funnel Cloud in Billings

BILLINGS - A severe thunderstorm sparked a funnel cloud near the Billings airport Friday afternoon.

A viewer sent KULR-8 some photographs taken from her home in the Heights. The pictures show the funnel cloud forming. One witness says it was quite a sight to behold.

"It was just perfectly cylindrical, just nice tight lines and it was neat to see. But I was actually worried because I have some friends who live on the northwest side of Billings, in the Molt and Rapelje area, and I was just thinking 'I hope everything is okay and I hope everything's fine,' " said Jason Hirst.
