BILLINGS - Getting around town via public transit just got a little greener.

The city dedicated its new Met transfer center this week. The state of the art facility will prepare for it's opening July 27th.

The new building features solar panels which will capture enough energy to meet about 75% of the center's needs. Not only is the facility environmentally friendly, but it will also offer more than 800 riders covered shelter while they await transportation.
