BILLINGS - A psychological report is expected to be in the hands of a Ballantine dog breeder's defense council later next week to determine her competency to stand trial on animal cruelty charges.
Court officials say a psychologist has had about three months to complete an evaluation of Linda Kapsa. The results of that evaluation will be sent to Kapsa's attorneys by May 26. The dog breeder's facility was raided last December and almost 200 dogs were confiscated. Kapsa has pleaded not guilty to two counts of animal cruelty.###
