BILLINGS - Early Monday morning police officers and Special Olympians gathered in Billings for the start of the 23rd annual Torch Run.

The run began as all the participants ran across the South Billings Boulevard Bridge. Each officer will run or bike 2-to-5 miles until they reach Big Timber, a total of 81 miles. The Special Olympians say this event not only supports their programs but it's also a good time.

"Oh it's so fun. Lot's of fun, ya! It's a good day Monday too," says Wil Malsom. Sergeant Matt Brewer says in the past three years he's been involved, this is the most support he's seen.
