BILLINGS - A new format hit the Billings radio waves Monday morning and took many drivers by surprise.

Music channel 105.1 FM changed from music to all sports broadcasting. New Northwest Broadcasters says people who worked for the station before will switch roles and move into other positions in the station. The new programming will be syndicated with ESPN radio, but that could expand down the road.

"We want to build out obviously to local high school, college, and really become grassroots with the format so we want to speak out to and be able to do things for the little leagues here," said New Northwest Broadcasters' George Feola.

New Northwest Broadcasters also owns three other local FM stations and one AM station in Billings.

George Feola is an imcompetent broadcaster. Good luck, sounds like he's already screwing things up.
