BILLINGS - More than a week after losing their jobs, some employees at the East Boulder Mine got the phone call they were waiting for Friday.

More than 200 hourly employees will return to work Saturday. Union members voted Wednesday to approve a new contract. One employee said he was told workers will receive an orientation session to learn how the mine will operate under the new conditions.

The mine previously had more than 400 employees. Nearly 160 of the 500 workers laid off by Stillwater Mining last week will not return to their jobs.
