BILLINGS - St. Vincent Healthcare gets a shot in the arm to stay on top of technology. Governor Brian Schweitzer presented a $200,000 dollar grant Tuesday for work-force development and training in technological advancement. The money will keep staff up-to-date on the latest technology.

It will be a big boost to the radiology department by bringing in state-of-the-art equipment. Dustin Strandell, Special Imaging Supervisor at St. Vincent said; "it's amazing to be able to do this. For Billings, Montana, it's the biggest referral region in Montana, we have the equipment now that Seattle doesn't have, or it's in the process of coming in that Seattle doesn't have, the closest one is in Las Vegas. So it's a huge benefit to patients in Billings and the region."

Healthcare industry is the largest and fastest growing sector in Montana.
