Pedestrian Hit by Vehicle

BILLINGS - A woman is hit by a vehicle while crossing the street in downtown Billings escapes with minor injuries. It happened at the corner of 2nd Avenue North and North 27th Street after two Tuesday afternoon. Police say the driver of a Cadillac was making a left hand turn with a green light, looked down at a ringing cell phone, looked up and hit the woman. The driver was ticketed for failure to yield right of way. The woman was transported to Billings Clinic and with non-life threatening injuries.
