Weekend Fatal Accidents

BILLINGS - Two separate accidents near Hardin left two people dead this weekend.

Carrie-Ann Bailey, 40, of Fort Smith was killed when she missed a curve on highway 313 early Saturday morning and hit a bank of trees. Officials with the Montana Highway Patrol said her car burst into flames, and they suspect alcohol was a factor.

Michael Slattery. 59, of Saint Xavier was killed after being hit by a car Friday night. The MHP said he was walking along Highway 313 at about 8 p.m. when a Chevy truck hit him.
