BILLINGS - Most shoppers head to the grocery store to get food, but Albertsons is now giving you a convenient way to give back.

The grocery chain is holding a food drive to benefit Montana's Food Bank Network. The drive started Sept. 15 and goes through Sept. 28th. Customers can drop non-perishable food at the stores, or buy a virtual bag of food for $2, $5, or $7 at the checkout.

The money raised will be used to buy essential food items for the Billings Food Bank and Family Service Inc. The food drive takes place at Albertsons stores in nine states. All donations go to local food banks.
