Home Improvement Show

By Stephanie Domurat

BILLINGS - Though some say the housing market is in a slump, home improvement supplies seem to still be going strong.

The 15th annual Fall Home Improvement Show had a record turnout this year at MetraPark. Roughly 400 exhibits were on display over the weekend, with everything from electronics to exercise equipment.

Officials say the housing slump may be a reason more people showed up this year. "Most of the vendors that are out here are doing here showing things for remodeling, and it's definitely a reason people are here. Since they aren't buying a new house, they want to be more comfortable with the house their in," says Mark Hedin, Home Improvement Show Producer.

The number of exhibitors grew this year, with fifty more booths than last year.
