Montana Student at RNC

By Madelyn Jarrett

BILLINGS - A University of Montana student had the chance to see the first serious woman candidate for Vice President of the United States make her speech at the RNC Wednesday night.

Ethan Heverly says the excitement is through the roof right now in Saint Paul and he heard a lot of points in Palin's speech that should appeal to Montanans.

"She has a lot of the same values as a lot of Montanans. She's a gun-toting, fishing woman, hockey mom, mother of 5. I would say she encompasses Montana values to the very core. Sarah Palin gave an outstanding speech directed at all Americans. Not at Republicans, not at Democrats or Independents, but at all Americans." Said Heverly.

Heverly is the McCain Student State coordinator here in Montana and he says he can't wait to get back home and continue campaigning.
