New Water Park

By Naomi Pescovitz

BILLINGS - The largest indoor water park in Montana is set to open Friday in Billings.

It's called "The Reef" and is located at the Wingate Inn near the Zoo Montana exit. It features a wave pool, six slides, a play structure, an activity pool, a whirlpool and an arcade. The building can hold nearly 1,000 people, and 14 trained life guards will be on duty at all times.

"Everybody seems to like the Baracuda Blast, which is the orange body tube slide," Sean Nichols, General Manager at "The Reef," said. "Everybody comes down, they run back upstairs to go on it. It's 327 feet long so it's pretty nice."

The park is open to the public and costs $19.95 a day. Summer hours are 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. Kids under 4 feet tall, parents who are not swimming and hotel guests get a discount on admission.

WAY to expensive!! They should have half day passes with half day rates so you don't have to spend $20 for 2-3 hours of swimming.

This is great but will it be too much to ask if we can get a place that has a large indoor game area and that has a go cart track that will leave you ready for more.Or best lets get a huge indoor theme park.
