Plea Deal

By Nick Lough

BILLINGS - A Billings man makes a deal with prosecutors and now admits to robbing a Billings convenience store.

Forty-one-year-old Patrick McDermott pleaded guilty to two counts of robbery criminal endangerment and two misdemeanor charges. Prosecutors agreed to drop one misdemeanor in exchange for a guilty plea.

In early April, McDermott brandished a knife at the Kum and Go on Broadwater and left the scene with cash. He was also arrested in March for driving drunk and traveling the wrong way down the interstate. His sentencing is scheduled for October 6th.
