BILLINGS - Many firefighters across the state are college students, who are supposed to be heading back to class in less than a month. But one university is making life a little easier for those students, by giving them more time to enroll.

MSU- Billings is extending the registration period by two weeks, for any students who are fighting fires. The extension will apply to class registration, housing, financial aid, and most other aspects of university life. University officials say students are responsible for contacting the university by August 25th.
