BILLINGS - Since 1968, a democratic presidential candidate has only won the state of Montana one time. But the Obama campaign says they are not ready to give Montana up to Senator McCain.

The Obama campaign has offices in six cities and considers Montana a battleground state. The Campaign's Chief of Staff Jim Messina says that Obama believes he can win the state by putting aside party labels.

"When people go to the ballot box in November, they are going to ask themselves one question which is who is going to bring change to this country. And I think that it will be a very easy answer that Barack Obama will. Senator McCain has done little to campaign in the state.
