Hundreds Line Up for Obama

By Katie Ussin

BILLINGS - Hundreds of people formed a line two blocks long in Downtown Billings Friday morning for a chance to hear Democratic Presidenital Candidate Barack Obama speak in Billings Monday.

Two-thousand tickets were handed out, two-per person, at the local Obama campaign office. Obama endorser and State Representative Kendall Van Dyk said the large turnout reflects how far-reaching and exciting people find Obama's message of change.

"We've got possibly the next president of the United States coming right here to Billings West High School Monday, so, it's a pretty thrilling experience for everyone I think," said Van Dyk.

Late Friday afternoon, the Barack Obama Montana campaign announced the Senator will also be holding a rally at Crow Agency Monday afternoon. Tickets are not required for the rally at Crow Agency. The Crow Nation welcomes and invites members of the public from across Montana to attend.
