CROW RESERVATION - As travelers head East through Hardin on interstate 90, they'll be welcomed onto the Crow Reservation in a new way.

The Crow Reservation revealed a new sign Thursday to display traditional beliefs in a new way. The first of four signs bordering the reservation was unveiled. The signs are meant to illustrate the hospitality of the Crow tribe and to welcome visitors. The color blue signifies the water and the sky, and the Tribe Emblem depicts the Crow way of life.

"We wanted to display that for everyone to see , this is our way of life, and welcome!" says Robert Old Horn, Executive Assistant To Chief of Staff of Crow Tribe. Crow Resident Levy Black Eagle says, "We have a proud nation and we want to display it on all fronts and we want people to come by and be happy to be here."

Leaders say the plans for the new sign took more than a year to complete, and now stands as example of what can happen when people come together.
