Dryer Caused Trailer Fire

By Arianne Rapkoch

BILLINGS - Billings fire officials have identified the cause of a trailer fire that left five people homeless last weekend.

They say the fire at 737 S. Billings Blvd on Sunday was caused by a clothes dryer. The trailer was a total loss and two dogs were killed in the blaze. The family does have insurance.

The Fire Marshal reminds people to keep dryer vents and lint traps clean to protect against such accidental fires.
