BILLINGS - About 200 people gathered in Billings Tuesday to learn about ways to correct Housing Discrimination.

Bryan Greene with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development said most of the housing complaints they deal with come from people with disabilities. He said in Montana Native Americans appear to be discriminated against more than they are in other states. The Department of Housing is there to help.

"These are laws that are there to protect all of us," Greene said. "So it's the government's obligation when we hear about discrimination to investigate."

If you know of a case of discrimination feel free to call HUD at 1-800-669-9777.
