Yellowstone Bison

By Nick Lough

BILLINGS - Yellowstone National Park officials say they're doing their best to keep Montana's brucellosis free status.

Park officials have taken more than 180 bison to a holding facility in Stephens Creek. The group includes five pregnant bison, 38 with radio transmitters, and one new calf.

Officials say the bison will be released later in the spring. The Stephens Creek Corrals can hold around 200 bison for a few weeks and up to 400 bison for a shorter period of time.
