Officer of the Year

By Nick Lough

BILLINGS - Three of Montana's finest are named "Officers Of The Year" Tuesday afternoon at the Crowne Plaza in Billings.

They're honored by their peers for their continued acts of greatness. Either with the police department, sheriff's office, or the highway patrol. Keynote speaker, United States Marshal Dwight Mackay praised the officers for their service to the community.

This year's awards winners are Officer Darcy Dahle of the Billings Police Department, Trooper Darvin Mees of the Montana Highway Patrol, and Sergeant Sam Bofto of the Yellowstone County Sheriff's Department.

The Downtown Exchange Club has been handing out these awards since 1958.
