BILLINGS - Billings Mayor Ron Tussing is hoping to land a new job with a seat on the public service commission. He's challenging current commissioner Brad Molnar.

Tussing says he is prepared to help balance economic and environmental interests when it comes to the state's energy policies. He says significant philosophical differences have led him to seek Molnar's seat on the commission.

Tussing said, "It seems apparent that his attitude has been to promote corporate profiteering and to continue the monopolies that we presently have."

Tussing says, if elected, he will work to further develop Montana's alternative energy sectors and lessen the monopolistic hold that he says utilities currently have in Montana.
