MONTANA - We now know when checks from the Economic Stimulus Plan will be sent out.

If you file your federal tax return by April 15th and use direct deposit your payments come first. When they come depends on the last two digits of the main filer's Social Security number.

So if your last two numbers are 0-through-20 you can expect your payment to show up in your bank account on May 2nd. If your Social Security number ends in 21-through-75 the check goes in May 9th. Numbers 76-through-99 will see their payment on May 16th. Paper checks will be put in the mail starting May 16th and will be mailed out through July depending on your Social Security number.
