OK, I understand. She married a criminal and then cries when he gets deported. Had she married a drug dealer and her husband went off to prison it would be no different. He did the crime and is now doing the time. Moreover, this "expert" does not know her immigration law very well. 9/11 had nothing to do with adjustment of status to permanent residence, let alone citizenship. The most current version of the law came about with the '96 IIRAIRA Act that enacted the unlawful presence provisions.
