Steve Bullock Files for State Attorney General

By Nick Lough

BILLINGS - A day before having to file papers in Helena to be placed on the ballot, Steve Bullock announced his candidacy for Montana Attorney General at MSU-Billings Downtown Monday.

Bullock says he is more qualified for the position than other candidates because he has already served 4 years in office part of that as the Montana Chief Deputy Attorney General. Bullock says he wants to focus on several areas if elected including protecting Montana's youth and elderly against crimes on the Internet and supporting unions.

Bullock says this is a family decision. "It's a big decision to decide you're going to run state wide, but it's a family decision, my wife and I have three under five and it's also a decision of what kind of Montana do we want in the future," said Bullock.
