FORSYTH - The formal search for a Forsyth man missing for two weeks now has ended.

About one hundred volunteers searched for 39-year old Tom Smith Saturday, but found no trace of him. Rosebud County Sheriff Randy Allies says they ended the search for Smith late Saturday afternoon. He's been missing since the night of December 17th.

Allies, says Smith's vehicle was found in Smith Creek, just west of town, and about two miles from his home. Allies says they believe Smith left his car, tried to find his way home and became disorientated. Allies says they do not suspect foul play.

Volunteers and rescue workers spent Saturday searching by plane, horseback, ATV and on foot.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Rosebud County Sheriff's Office at 406-346-2715.
