BILLINGS - "I'm just a guy that has to be outside and doing something," said Stan Fisher. "It's a good way for me to keep busy."

Stan Fisher's garden sure is looking great in 2010. "I ranched all my life. I like green. I want everything to be green," he said at his home.

He has traded in raising cattle for cucumbers, cantaloupes and, “Carrots, and behind there is strawberries," he said pointing to a row of greens.

"It's in my blood," said Fisher, who has a wise green thumb. "I'm 87!" He had these tips for growing a great garden: don't get in too big of a hurry, use good soil, use a good fertilizer, and keep the weeds out of it.

Fisher said his garden inspires him. "It is something to do everyday," he said. He said he is very proud of his garden, "You bet."
