BILLINGS- More than 50 Billings residents came together Saturday night to celebrate diversity in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Not in Our Town Billings hosted the 3rd annual Martin Luther King Jr. unity dinner. People of all ages, cultures and religions participated in the dinner which featured traditional southern food. The dinner is the first of many events held throughout the week commemorating the work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Not in Our Town Chairperson, Eran Thompson said events like the unity dinner allow the Billings community to sent an example of King's teachings.

"In Billings we can be a model. We can be a shining light around the country of how people of different races and religions come together and support one another as neighbors."
