BILLINGS - United States Attorney for the District of Montana Bill Mercer spoke with KULR-8 Wednesday to shed light on the charges and discuss their enforcement policy.

Mercer said his focus isn't on small time drug dealers but their suppliers. "The big picture is that we continue to be a state that receives a fair amount of illegal drugs from outside of Montana's borders,” he said, “and it's my job to try and work with investigating agencies to choke off that supply."

Mercer said he tries to get alleged drug dealers to identify their suppliers.
