BILLINGS - Montana reservations are experiencing a vaccine shortage for the H1N1 flu strain.

The hospital in Crow Agency serves members of the Crow and Northern Cheyenne reservations.

Doctor Scott Devous said they have received some vaccine from Indian Health Services for health care workers and then about 150 doses from the state.

He said they are prioritizing pregnant women and kids age 2-to-4 years to receive the vaccine first. Devous says they're hoping to get more doses this week.

To find out when they will be holding flu shot clinics for both the seasonal and H1N1 strains you are asked to call Public Health Department at 406-638-3479.
