BILLINGS – KULR-8 continues to introduce you to the candidates running for positions on Billings City Council with a look at the race for Ward 4.

Incumbent Ed Ulledalen is up against James Dershian who describes himself as "new blood" for the council. Both said financial issues are big issues for the city.

"The most difficult challenge city council has is how to find the money to pay for the needs, wants, desires for a growing city on the backs of a population that is increasingly retired and increasingly undersaved for retirement." Ulledalen said. "That's the big challenge."

"In the near future, I'd like to see more business bring in jobs that can keep our children here when they get older," Dershian said. "I have a 6-year-old and a 4-year-old and part of the reason I'm running is that I'm looking at their future. I don't want them having to leave Billings to build their lives and then come back."

Ballots must be handed into the county elections office by Tuesday November 3rd.
