Security Official Had No Knowledge of Position

BILLINGS - The man who Hilton tabbed as the likely director of the Two River Detention Facility says he was never a serious candidate.

Michael Cohen is currently the Vice President of International Security Associates in Dublin, Ohio. He says he responded to an Internet ad posted by APF, but did not seriously consider the position when Hilton wouldn't provide more information.

Monday, Two Rivers officials say Cohen decided not to take the position. But, Cohen told KULR-8 news he never considered the position.

"I'm very upset that he used my information I sent to him in confidence about the possible international training project and he's using it to scam you guys and scam the citizens of Hardin," Cohen said during a phone interview from Ohio.

Cohen says he's stunned by the statements made that he was the person chosen to run the detention center. He says he's not sure whether he'll seek legal action.
