Hardin Police Deadline Looms

BILLINGS - Residents of Hardin have less than 24-hours to speak out against the proposal to dissolve the law enforcement relationship between big horn county and the city.

Hardin mayor Ron Adams says the city council already voted to end the 30 year contract at its last meeting. County commissioners are expected to vote at their October 6th meeting. Residents can still file a formal objection to the court, file a petition, or ask county commissioners or the city council to reconsider and continue the current contract.

The public's deadline for any of those actions is Thursday. If the contract is voided the Big Horn County Sheriff's Department will continue to provide services for two years while Hardin creates its own police department.

Hardin officials say they have not discussed the possibility that American Police Force would take over the department despite the group's arrival last week with cars sporting Hardin Police logos.

Article 2 section 33. Impeach the Mayor ASAP. The City Council has already been compromised. Hardin residents stand up for your rights. YOu will get help too, just ask.

Has no one considered the fact that APF might have broken the laws of Montana by arriving with cars having Police Logos?
