Tester's Tour

NYE - Senator Jon Tester also toured the Stillwater mine Saturday. He told employees he will continue to meet with GM executives and look for ways to help Stillwater mine. The senator said before receiving the federal bail out, GM executives told congress they would protect their domestic suppliers. He said this is not what happened and he's frustrated with the way GM handled the situation.
"These are good jobs. These are hard working folks," Tester said about the people working at the Stillwater Mine's Nye site. "They buy vehicles, as do I, as do a lot of folks in Montana. If we're gonna start outsourcing all the materials we need for these vehicles it's not a step in the right direction as far as I'm concerned."
The senator has established a website where you can tell him what you think about the situation. He will then compile the information and share it with General Motors executives. You can find a link to that site by going to KULR-8.com and clicking on connections.
