Salmonella Outbreak Reaches Montana

BILLINGS - Montana's Department of Public Health and Human Services said the nation-wide salmonella outbreak has reached the Treasure State.

One laboratory linked a salmonella case in Cascade County with the multi-state outbreak likely caused by ground turkey.

On August 3, an Arkansas firm voluntarily recalled about 36-million pounds of ground turkey products due to possible salmonella contamination.
