BILLINGS - Officials say Billings health care providers are seeing a dramatic increase in patients with swine flu symptoms. Riverstone Health, Billings Clinic and Saint Vincent Healthcare are also reporting a spike in phone calls related to obtaining the H1N1 vaccine.

Saint Vincent Healthcare and Billings Clinic officials are now restricting visitation. They are not allowing visitors under the age of 18; anyone with a fever, cough, sore throat or any flu-like symptoms is asked not to visit. The hospitals are also putting a limit of two visitors per patient room.

The Yellowstone County Unified Health Command team is reminding the public to wash hands often, use alcohol-based hand sanitizers with at least 60% alcohol and if you have to cough, they urge people to do so into a sleeve or tissue.

Also, health officials urge members of the public to avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth.
