Here's something you don't see every day a sign advertising deep fried Pepsi. So what exactly is a deep fried Pepsi? Emily Reynolds says, "It's flour, sugar and Pepsi and we mix it into a batter and then you flatten it out in patties and fry it and when they float to the top they're finished." Also a new treat at the fair deep fried peaches. Both the deep fried Pepsi and peaches are newcomers to this year's MontanaFair and judging from the reception, they'll likely be back next year. Deep frying soft drinks is pretty new deep fried Coke was first introduced at the State Fair of Texas last year. That's also where the corn or corny dog was first introduced 65 years ago.
