BILLINGS - A Billings man is reaching out to help community members who helped him through the disaster of losing his home.

Last month, Steven Butler escaped a trailer fire without injury, but his home was destroyed. That's when a homeless veteran, Randy Hart organized six area companies to help with the removal of the burnt trailer.

Allied Waste Services, Ron Holman, Tetra Tech, Safetech, Keeland Excavation and Perkins Restaurant all helped with the project at no cost.

"I don't know how to say thank you enough to them," said Butler. "If I could do anything for them, I would. I would help them with anything."

Butler said he's now focusing on saving up for a new trailer and hopes to move back into his lot in the near future.
