BILLINGS - Two Billings hotels are doing their part to make sure there's ‘Room in the Inn’ this holiday season.

This Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve, Fairfield and Comfort Inns will provide free rooms to family members whose loved ones are hospitalized. The hotels' parent company offers the ‘Room in the Inn’ program at all of their more than 200 hotels nationwide.

The program's run since 1988, and employees said it's a great way to be a part of the community. “It's almost like you're Santa Claus for Christmas,” said Fairfield Inn Assistant General Manager Brody Rodgers, “because you're offering rooms to families that don't have enough money to spend $100 a night to stay at a fancy hotel,"

Rodgers said between the Fairfield and Comfort Inns more than 100 rooms are available.
