BILLINGS - United Blood Services issued an emergency request for blood donations Monday.

All blood types are needed, especially type O-Negative and B-Positive. They said supplies were depleted over the holidays as blood donations dropped significantly.

If you want to give, you must be at least 16 years old to donate.

United Blood Services in Billings is open Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday and Saturday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Walk-ins are always welcome.

They would have a lot more donations if they allow certain groups to give blood. I can't b/c I was born in Germany in 1983 and may have mad cow disease. Give me a break. i am o- and would love to donate
