Montana to Receive H1N1 Vaccine

BILLINGS - The first shipment of the H1N1 vaccine is on its way to Montana and should arrive in Billings this week.
The initial shipment of the vaccine will come in the nasal spray form and is approved only for healthy people ages 2 to 49.
5,400 doses are headed to Montana for at risk individuals.
Those groups include: Pregnant women, people who live with or care for children younger than 6 months of age, health care workers, kids between 6 months and 2 years of age and people between the ages of 25 and 64 with chronic health problems.
Vaccine shots, which are intended for everyone else, are expected to arrive later in the fall.
