BILLINGS - Clinics began Monday night to get Montana Women's Run competitors in shape. The race consists of a 2 or 5 mile walk or run through downtown.

Last year 6,000 people participated. The race isn't until May 9th but coordinators say it's important to train in advance. "Part of the Montana Women's run is we're looking out for women's health and wellness and part of that is we want people to be as fit as they can," says Jennifer Anderson with the Montana Women's Run.

The clinics are every Monday night from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Rocky Mountain College and Lockwood Middle School. They offer information on how much water you need to drink and how to stretch. You don't have to register for the clinics, but you do need to register if you plan on participating in the run.
