Ski Tips: Safety Week

RED LODGE - It should be the number one priority on everyone's mind when they're on the slopes but it's usually not.
Flying down a mountain at high speeds, skiing over rough terrain, or being outside for long periods of time in sub zero temperatures, it's no wonder every year the National Ski Area Association holds safety week at mountains across the country. "Safety week is really more for not our mountain staff but for our guests, that we're watching you and we want to make sure everyone's being safe and in control," said Red Lodge Mountains Heather Loftus.
Red Lodge Mountain officials say the easiest way to be safe on any mountain is by following one guideline, ski in control, and know your limits.
