Event Description

The Community Housing Resource Board (CHRB) presents the first annual “Unity in Our Community Music Festival” on September, 11, 2009 at 7pm. The concert will be held at the historic Babcock Theater situated in the heart of downtown Billings. In 2002, pianist Rick DellaRatta was asked to lead a band of ethnically diverse musicians. Since then, Rick and his band, now called, JAZZ FOR PEACE™ have performed over 350 Benefit Concerts to raise funds, publicity and awareness for outstanding organizations in need worldwide. The concert is a benefit for the CHRB, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to eradicate illegal housing discrimination in the Billings area and create an open and welcoming community for all persons who choose to live here.
