Event Description

The Montana Council, Boy Scouts of America, is pleased to announce their Fourth Annual Scouting Legacy Online Auction, May 18-31, 2009. This auction is open to all members of the public. To access the auction site, go to the Montana Council website, www.montanabsa.org and click on the Scout Auction banner. With donations from across Montana, the auction will be a unique and fun way to support Montana’s Boy Scouts.
The auction offers more than 600 items, including a guided fly-fishing trip; get-aways to the Bear Paw Mountains; Adirondack Chairs with Golden Retriever backs; hunting, fishing, camping and sports equipment, including a new pair of skis; gift certificates; dinners, including a dutch-oven dinner for 6; homemade desserts; home furnishings, books and games; beauty packages; art work; and Scouting memorabilia.
Sponsors include Wal-Mart, Conoco Phillips, and Big Horn Country Lodge. All proceeds from this year’s auction will be used to support rural Boy Scouting in Montana.
